Plenary discussion

Research: i did quite a bit of research beforehand, i looked at various movie opening sequences so i got an idea of what genre of film i wanted to do, i chose to do a british crime drama, similar to films such as Adulthood and Kidulthood, the whole group were quite familiar with these films so it was easier for us to talk about, we also had to get in the roles of the people in those films, we chose suitable clothing of hoodies and jeans, this made it more believable.

Planning: we each drew a storyboard and we decided amongst us who had the best one, we took different ideas from all of them and put them in one storyboard, we decided to cast me and Daniel and Kieran on the camera, this was a good choice as Kieran wasn't confident infront of the camera and we wanted to make it as believeable as possible. the costumes we decided to use are clothes that are generally known as "thug clothes" these include a black hoody, black jeans and a black hat, this gives the character respect and is mysterious, the equipment we used is a camera and tripod, this allowed us to have steady shots and shots that weren't possible without such as a pan, we had natural lighting, though i would prefer it if our group decided to film at night, this would make it more interesting and sinister
